Well, we are well into the school year now and I can't help but reflect on what a wonderful summer we had. The summer started off with late nights and sleeping in!! Relaxing at the pool and just having no where to go!! Samone made the Softball All-Stars team and that will forever be a wonderful memory of this summer. Those late summer evening practices. It was so nice to sit and watch her play with no worry of homework and making lunches and showers.... We really just enjoyed June!! Swimming, sleeping in, sleep overs!! The kids went to VBS for a week and Samone enjoyed being a helper for the first time!! Adrien went to a football camp for a day and loved it!! We put him in FAC summer camp for a few days one week and he absolutely loved it!! The girls and I and dad got to enjoy a few peaceful days at the pool without our sweet little terror boy :)
July began the All-Stars Tournament. We left for Payson on July 3rd. We camped at a campground there with several other families from the team and we ended up running into some other Flagstaff All stars families!! It really was a lot of fun!!! Grandpa Mark and Grandma Dee showed up to watch Samone play!! It was such an amazing experience!! The first game was against Winslow and we won!! Samone was AMAZING!! Next game was against Payson and we lost :( Then we played Winslow again and won again!!! These 4 days were nice to be hanging out at the campground with everyone!! We did have a scare one night. A camper in the campground caught fire!! What a memory that is!!!
So, one the day of the 4th game, now against Payson again, me, Kendall, Adrien and Dad left Samone behind with Pat and Anita and we drove to Phx to watch at Dodgers game!! It was so much fun. Then we checked in at the Arizona Grand and hung out at the water park all evening. Turns out Samone played the game of her life that night, and of course we weren't there to watch it :( But I have to admit, it may have been even more exciting just hearing people tell us how amazing she was. We ended up winning!! I was so proud of her!!! Her coaches gave her the MVP Ball!!
So, next day was so crazy... we drove from Phx to Payson, got our camper and drove it to Flagstaff, then drove back to Payson to watch the last game!! Now, honestly we did not want to win this game because it meant going to Sierra Vista and we had enjoyed the whole experience but were ready for it to be over!! And they did end up losing!!
But it was so so so much fun and just a pretty awesome experience!!
So, we piled in the car, grabbed a bite to eat and headed back to AZ Grand!! We spent 2 days and 3 night lounging by the pool and just relaxing. It was a great time!!
We came home, Dad made one trip and we decided to take the trailer out into to the woods for a night!! It ended up being one of my favorite camping trips ever. We played a lot of baseball!! We played games, cooked and just hung out!!! Just the five of us !!! It was great!!!
Hard to believe that by now it was the middle of July!!!! Anniversary Time!!!! Dad and I left the kids with Nonnie overnight and spend then night in Cottonwood and going to some wineries!! It was such a nice time for us and a great memory!!!
Just wish the kids didn't have to give Nonnie such a hard time :S
We went to lots of our summer movies, probably more than we ever went to in the past. We went bowling, swimming, we went to Sedona with the Hovis's twice and both times were a blast - swimming in the creek, picking berries, picnicing!! Great times. We went ice skating with friends (Maddie, Tristan and Kiarra), we made lots of trips to yougurt U,,, yum yum!!!
We enjoyed our late nights!! Sitting on the deck, bbqing, watching the kids pitch to each other!! We also really enjoyed watching the summer olympics. We watched it constantly!!! We especially enjoyed the gymnastics!!! Well, we enjoyed it all!! But it was so fun to watch together and not have to worry about getting up early!!!
Adrien started football August 1st!!! That was every night of the week and I really enjoyed just being able to sit and watch him out there!! He'll be the quarterback this year!! This is gonna be a great year for him and he is so excited!!
We wrapped up our wonderful summer going to Lake Powell with the Burns!! The had a houseboat for the weekend and invited us to join them. It was a great time and such a fun way to end the summer with a BANG!!!
Now the kids are all back in school Samone in 7th grade, Kendall in 4th and Adrien in 2nd!!! They are growing up so fast, but I feel so blessed to be able to really enjoy them and enjoy everything they are doing!!!
I love my life. I am so blessed!!! This was our summer in a nutshell, but it was a really really great summer!!!!

Brian Head Utah!! Spring Break 2012
Just got home from a WONDERFUL Spring Break!! We left on Tuesday, 3/13/12, and arrived in Brian Head at 4pm!!! Our condo was ski in/ ski out.... right on the mountain!! We unloaded the car then went for a little drive around the little town. We had a quick dinner at and mexican resturant then headed back to the condo!!!! They had a large hot tub, a sauna, and a full game room!! We sat in the hot tub for a bit then went to the game room to play!!! Then we went back to the condo and played Apples to Apples before sending the kiddos to bed!!!
DAY ONE of skiing!!! The day started out as "exploration"... where we were just hitting different runs and checking the area out!! We headed back to the condo for lunch and a little break before hitting the slopes again!!! Adrien LOVED the jumps!! Every time he would hit the jumps, people on the lift and also people in the jump park would all start cheering for him!! One guy yelled "You're my hero!!" I heard one kid yell to his dad "Dad, did you just see that little kid hit those jumps?!" He wiped out a few times, but he loved that too!!! He is a NUT!!! So we did some black diamonds and I was doing a pretty good job of keeping up with everyone. Dad and the kids decided to try this DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND!! They actually took it at a less steep starting point, but THEY ALL DID IT!!! They are just amazing skiers and make me so proud!!! After skiing we headed back to the condo. David made dinner and the kids went to the game room. After dinner we all went to sit in the hot tub for a bit. Then we came back to the condo to watch American Idol!!!! It was a great day!!!
DAY TWO Up and at 'em again!!! Another great day of skiing!!! We did some tough Black Diamonds and I did pretty dang good!!! I was proud of myself!! Of course I can't beat any of my kids, but hey... at least I am making it down the hill without stopping!!! We skied until about 1pm then headed back to the condo for lunch and a break again!!! That has been one of the best parts.. being able to ski right up to our condo!!! We hit the slopes hard this afternoon!! The weather was great and we were having a blast. Dad and the kids even hit that Double Black Diamond TWO MORE TIMES!!! After sking, we all went to the hot tub right away!!! It was so nice!!! Then we hung out in the game room and played for awhile. Dad made some yummy tacos for dinner. We ate and watched American Idol!! Then we played Apples to Apples before heading off to bed!!! Another great day!!
DAY THREE We were all a little slower getting started today. We layed around for awhile this morning before getting ready to hit the slopes. We skied over to the other side. It is more beginner runs, but it was still fun to go over their and do something different. When we headed back to the other mountain again, the boys and girls split up. Dad and Adrien hit the jumps and the girls and I just wanted to ski some runs!! We headed to a lift that hadn't been open all week. Samone really wanted to try this Black Diamond called Outskirts CatWalk. Cat Walk should have been a clue, but it was a Black diamond. The first part of the run was flat!!! OMG, we were WORKING!!! The run turned out to be a fun little run, but not worth that flat part!! Still, it was our little adventure. At about 2:30, we were done!!! Three days of skiing had wore us out!! We headed back to the condo to freshen up a bit before heading off to the much-anticipated part of our trip!!!! Tubing!!! They have this tubing park that the kids could not WAIT to go on!! We were scheduled from 4-8!! We stopped to eat first, then headed over. Now, it had gotten pretty cold. Dad and I figured the kids would last about an hour or two.... Oh were we wrong!!! THEY LOVED IT!!! All of them!!! I had to sit in the car occasionally to warm up, but they never once complained!!! We finally got them to leave at about 7:15pm. We went back to the condo and went to sit in the hot tub for a bit!!! Back at the condo, the kids had a snack and then headed to bed!!
HEADING HOME Everyone was pretty wore out this morning!!!! Packing up is never fun, and we were all TIRED!! Heading out was a bit of a scare.... It was snowing and so, so windy that for a part of the ride we could barely see the road!!! It was a total white out!! It was scary!! But then it got better and we were good!!! We stopped in Page to eat before rolling back in to town!!!
It was a GREAT ski trip !!! We had so much fun. But it is always nice to get home!!!
Now they are predicting 5-10 inches of snow in the next 2 days!!! HMMM We may be snowed in!!

Sereno Classic Soccer Tournament
This is one of those weekends I will never truly be able to completely describe in words. We had to go to Phoenix on Friday for a 6pm game. Samone went down with Lily. Me, David and the kids went down around 2pm. We checked in to our hotel and let the kids swim a bit while we cooked some hot links on the BBQ!!! We headed over to the game. It was certainly chilly out. It was a good game. We won 2-0!! Samone stayed the night with Lily, so it was just the four of us at the hotel!! The kids went right to bed. The next morning we took our time getting ready, met Mary to pick up Samone and Lily, then headed of to "The Hood" four our League game!!!
Very interesting game. The ref made 14 calls against us and 1 for us!! It was so crazy.... It almost got to be kind of fun!! Fortunately, we still managed to pull off a tie game, which put us in first place for our League and secured our spot in moving back up to State League next year!!! WooHoo!!!
We got sandwiches and went back to the condo to let the kids lay around the pool for awhile!!!
Our next game was a tougher one!! The Blackhawks 01 team. It was 0-0 at half. Then we scored early in the second half. We got a PK called in our favor in the box!!! Samone and Morgan both wanted to take the shot, but Samone got it!! AND SHE MISSED IT!!! Oh it just killed her. We ended up losing 2-1!!! It SUCKED!!!!
That night the Hazlett's came to our condo and we bbq'd at the pool and let the kids swim!! It was nice!! Kids got to bed a bit late!! The next morning David told Samone and I to go to the game so Kendall and Adrien could sleep in!!
That was a game!!!! This time it was Sereno 01. Pretty even the whole game. 0-0 at half!! Then Val scored on a corner!!! Unfortunately, they also scored and we ended in a tie..... going in to PK's!!! PK's are HORRIBLE!!!! I was so nervous I could barely watch!!!
Sereno went first and missed!!!
Samone went next and......... MADE IT!!! This was her redemption to herself for missing that PK in the game.
Then Sereno again and they missed again!!!
Then Sierra. She missed too.... just above the net.
Sereno's 3rd player made it!!
Then Alyssa was up and MADE IT!!! Oh I can not even explain the energy going on!! Everyone was up and pacing!! It was crazy!!!
Sereno was up again and missed again. So now it was 2-1. If we made the next shot we would win! Morgan was up!!! SHE MADE IT!!!! Oh my goodness!! We were all jumping up and down!! It was so exciting!! I can't even explain it!! We were going into the Championship!!!! And guess who we were playing again..... Blackhawks 01 team!!
Well, Samone and I went to collect the rest of our family. We got checked out of the hotel and went to Streets of NY to eat!! Got some Jamba Juice.... a bit of a mistake because first I spilt some on my seat then Adrien knocked a hole in Kendall's and it spilt all over her seat!!! What a mess!!
But, the game!! Oh my!! I have to say it was a very different game then the first one we played against them. This one, we clearly dominated. It was 0-0 with like 5 minutes left in the game!!! Then Sofie was able to get one in the net!!! We thought we had it!! Then, through some shady circumstances, they scored, with like 30 seconds left in the game!! CRAZY!!! So, off to PK's we go.... AGAIN!!!!
It was more than our old hearts could handle!! We wanted this win so bad!! SAMONE was up first.....
I almost couldn't watch!! But SHE MADE IT!! It just sailed in the net!!!
Blackhawks were up..... They missed!!!! 1-0 us
Next up, Sierra..... SHE MADE IT!!! Her redemption!!

Next up Alyssa..... SHE MADE IT!!!! So Blackhawks had to make the next one....

OMG!!! WE WERE ALL JUMPING AND CHEERING!! THE TEAM ALL RUSHED TO MACKENZIE AND JUST SEEING THEM ALL OUT THEIR, JUST THE GIRLS, OUR THEIR CELEBRATING AND CONGRATULATING EACHOTHER!! IT WAS JUST TOO MUCH!!
So many times we have been the ones walking away with our heads hung low, consoling our kids!!1 But now.... two weekends in a ROW!!! WE WERE THE CHAMPIONS!!! The girls were all running around spraying each other with water and just being silly and crazy!! They were all just so happy. And even the parents!! We were so happy for them!!!
We have had so many downs, these recent ups have been so refreshing!!!! And Samone just ROCKED IT!! She played defense the whole weekend and it was actually the first time EVER that I wasn't hoping they would put her in Mid!! She needed to stay in D if we had any chance of winning!! Stay in D she did and WIN WE DID!!!!
Samone played 100% of 5 games in three days!!! We figured it was about 330 minutes of soccer!!! Sweet little thing was EXHAUSTED!!! I let her stay home on Monday just to recuperate!! She is a rock star!! So proud of my Sweet Samone and so proud of her team!!

My Birthday Weekend
What a fabulous "Birthday Weekend" I had!! I woke up to a shower of gifts and hugs and cuddles from my sweet loves. David took Kendall and Adrien up to Snow Bowl. I went and treated myself to a Manicure/Pedicure then picked Samone up from school and she and I met the others up at Snow Bowl. We sat and enjoyed the GORGEOUS weather outside and ate some lunch before hitting the slopes!!! It was an amazing day of skiing. Then we went straight from there to Sakura for dinner!!! It was a great treat and we got a fun and entertaining chef!! Then home to relax on the couch with some wine and American Idol.
In the morning, we were off to Phoenix for the Blackhawks Invitational Soccer Tournament!!! Samone is just an amazing soccer player and I love watching her play!! They won their first game!! We checked in to our hotel - Mark's timeshare condo!! It is a great place to stay!! Then back to the fields for game two!! They won again!! Woo Hoo!! We stopped at a Sport's Grill for dinner then headed back to the condo. We all went and sat in the hot tub for a bit before bed!!
The game the next morning, we won again!! So we had to stay in Phoenix a bit longer!!! So we grabbed some sandwiches and hung out at the fields and watched some other soccer games and hung out with some of the team.
So, the championship game!!!! They WON!!! WOW!!! The first place champions for the first time since they were U9's playing in Las Vegas!!!! It was a great way to wrap up the weekend!! It really was a fabulous weekend!!!

Games
ADRIEN loves playing games!! He will get the game out, get it all set up, get everyone's places all set up and then start begging us to play!! It is just too cute and, of course, we have to play!! He just enjoys it so much!!!
Right now we are playing Apples to Apples.... me and the kids!! I love that we can all play and everyone can read the cards and play by themselves without any help!!! These are the special times!!!!!

PF Changs Rock n Roll Half Marathon
We have been training for this for the past 4 months.... and finally the day has arrived... The PF Chang's Rock n Roll Half Marathon!!!
Cindy came up to Flagstaff on Friday night to stay with the kids. On Saturday morning, David, Samone and I head to Phoenix to her soccer game!!! It was a very depressing soccer game!! After the game, Samone left with Lily and we headed to check in to the race. We ate lunch first. It was nice. We sat outside at a Greek restaurant in downtown Phoenix. Then we headed to the Expo to check in and walk around!!! We checked in to our hotel and then headed to downtown Scottsdale. We walked around a bit then headed to Bucci de Pucci to meet Kari, the Wrights, Donn Merrick and another friend of theirs for dinner!! We got back to our hotel and relaxed a little before heading to bed!!!
RACE DAY!!! Up at 5:30am!! We got ready and then headed to the lobby to catch our shuttle to the race!! ONLY THERE WAS NO SHUTTLE!!! The shuttle was stuck in traffic!! It got pretty frantic, with so many of us racers there waiting for the shuttle!! The manager on duty was nice enough to drive us in her own car!! She got up pretty close!!! As soon as we got there, we found our corral!! It really is just such an exciting event!! All the people, the music, the atmosphere!!! It really gets you pumped up!!! AND WE"RE OFF!!! We separated pretty quickly!! My goal was two hours so I was keeping my eyes open for the 2 hour marker!! I passed the 2:15 marker pretty quickly. David caught up with me about mile 6. That was about when I closed in on and passed the 2 hour marker. That is also about when my leg started giving out on me!!! OH MAN, it was HURTING!!! I just started praying! I was praying and praying that God would just let me finish this race in 2 hours. I could not let this slow me down!! I was so determined to finish this race in 2 hours!!! I knew I had a good distance between me and the 2 hour marker, so I did ease up a bit!! David and I were running together for awhile, he just a few seconds ahead of me. Then he headed over to one of the stations to get a drink and I lost him!!! I wasn't sure if he was ahead of me or behind me. At this point, about mile 10, I just had to put my head down and focus!! Then the 2 hour marker was about to pass me!! Oh no, I had eased up too much. But my leg was killing me!!! I was so afraid it was going to give out on me!! More prayer and more focus!! I was able to put some distance between me and that marker again!! When I passed the finish line I knew I was under 2 hours, but not sure by how much!!! Drum roll please......
1 hour, 57 minutes and 11 seconds!!! I was on cloud nine!!! I DID IT!!! However, once I quit running, I now could barely walk at all!!! I found David. He was 2 hours 1 minute!! Apparently his stomach started bugging him and he actually threw up!!! Poor guy. He was pretty upset about it!! We got our snacks and then headed off to the meeting spot. We had our free beer and met up with everyone!!! We walked to Hooter's to meet up with everyone and I was in so so so much pain I could barely walk. By the time we finally got back to the hotel I was hurting so bad!!! But it was so worth it!! I am so proud of myself and so proud of my time!!!! Can't wait to do it again!!!
Cindy came up to Flagstaff on Friday night to stay with the kids. On Saturday morning, David, Samone and I head to Phoenix to her soccer game!!! It was a very depressing soccer game!! After the game, Samone left with Lily and we headed to check in to the race. We ate lunch first. It was nice. We sat outside at a Greek restaurant in downtown Phoenix. Then we headed to the Expo to check in and walk around!!! We checked in to our hotel and then headed to downtown Scottsdale. We walked around a bit then headed to Bucci de Pucci to meet Kari, the Wrights, Donn Merrick and another friend of theirs for dinner!! We got back to our hotel and relaxed a little before heading to bed!!!
RACE DAY!!! Up at 5:30am!! We got ready and then headed to the lobby to catch our shuttle to the race!! ONLY THERE WAS NO SHUTTLE!!! The shuttle was stuck in traffic!! It got pretty frantic, with so many of us racers there waiting for the shuttle!! The manager on duty was nice enough to drive us in her own car!! She got up pretty close!!! As soon as we got there, we found our corral!! It really is just such an exciting event!! All the people, the music, the atmosphere!!! It really gets you pumped up!!! AND WE"RE OFF!!! We separated pretty quickly!! My goal was two hours so I was keeping my eyes open for the 2 hour marker!! I passed the 2:15 marker pretty quickly. David caught up with me about mile 6. That was about when I closed in on and passed the 2 hour marker. That is also about when my leg started giving out on me!!! OH MAN, it was HURTING!!! I just started praying! Life is Good!!!
I mean... Really Really GOOD!! The kids are all doing great in school. I am able to volunteer at Knoles regularly. I even volunteered a bit at Sinagua. I have been running a lot and have already really improved my speed!!! I am running at about a 9.4 minute mile pace!!! My inspections have been really flowing well and I never feel overwhelmed with them!!! I have been able to keep up on the house and chores so that when the kids get home I have had time to visit with them, do homework with them and just ENJOY them!! They are also older now and able to entertain themselves without needing my constant attention!! They do still go at it with each other from time to time, but hey... that's life!!

FOOTBALL!!!!
So, Adrien is playing football!!! I know, some people think we are totally crazy for letting our 6 year old play tackle football.... But they don't know Adrien!!!
Practice started the frist week of August. Then they had their draft pick. Adrien was picked for the RAMS!!!! WooHoo!! He was super excited. Then we started practicing with the RAMS!!!! For the first two weeks practices were 4 days a week for 2 hours. WHEW!!! This is not for the weak at heart!! This is some intense stuff. The first 10 hours are all conditioning.... then they get into the good stuff!!!! And Adrien has just LOVED it. He is only one of two 6 year olds on his team. He only plays defense, on the line. He doesnt get tackled, his job is to tackle. Over the past several weeks, he has really been picking it up!! He has been doing great!!! Now we practice 3 nights a week (T, TH, F) and have games every Saturday. We have had some home games and some traveling games. This weekend we travel to Prescott Valley. It'll just be me Adrien and Kendall. David and Samone are going to her tournament in Phx!!! We are now having to split up with everyone's schedules!!! It does get a little crazy, but we love it!!!

Fall is Here!!!
Adrien didn't have practice this Friday.... very unusual!!! So we decided to do something as a family. The kids all voted for swimming, since it's been so hot this past week!!! Well, about noonish, clouds started rolling in, thunder lightening and then the rain!! It poured!!! It was cold and wet and gray outside. So it was perfect movie weather. We all cozied up in the living room and watched RIO. I got our fall decorations out and we decorated the house. After dinner we hopped in the car and headed to Yogurt U, and new self-serve yogurt shoppe in town!!! Yum Yum!!! We got home and played some Wii bowling before sending everyone off to bed!!!
Then we all actually got to sleep in on Saturday!!! Samone made everyone pancakes for breakfast!!! We got ready and headed off to Samone's soccer game!! The game was stressful, as always!!! But Samone ROCKED IT, as always!!! We ended up tieing the game 1-1. After the game, our little family headed downtown the Oktobefest!!! It was fun, we stayed for about an hour. We got the kids a pizza and brought them home. We left them at home and headed down the street to Jotini's to meet Mike and Tami!!!

Camp Colton
Well, the big week finally came. I have heard about it around town for years. All the 6th graders in Flagstaff go to Camp Colton for 4 days and 3 nights!! AND... they have NO contact with their families during that time!!!! Samone's turn finally came this past week!!! We spent Sunday afternoon getting her all packed up. She was excited and nervous all wrapped up into one!!! Monday morning she got ready, we double checked her stuff, and off we went to drop her off at school!!
Now, I really thought it was going to be a lot harder for me than it really was. I was actually super excited for her, to get out on her own and be a little independent!!!! And I knew she would be fine!! She has never done ANYTHING like this before... especially the "no contact" thing!!!
She did text me before they left, once they were on the buses on their way up and (suprisingly) once after they had gotten their and eaten lunch!!! But that was my last contact with her until about 10:30am on Thursday. She texted me that they were on the buses and heading out. Then she called me once they got to the school. I couldn't wait to see her. I will say that I did pick up on dirty, smelly tired little girl!!!! She was a little upset with me for being a little late..... (like 10 minutes late, but I think she was just over tired).
We got home and chatted a bit about her experience!!!! She had so much fun!!! I knew she would. She took a shower and I started her laundry. Then we went to Freddie's for a burger and fries. We shared a custard and headed back home. She was exhausted, so I let her just lay around and be lazy the rest of the day!!!!
But it was a great experience for her, one she will remember forever!!!! I am so proud of her!!! Though, I do have to report - for the record - that our house was a totally different place without her here!! We love her to bits and pieces and missed her like crazy, but it was just so calm here!!! There was no fighting, no arguing!! It was nice!!!

LITTLE LEAGUE!!!
Well... we did it!! I must admit, I was a little nervous... But somehow we did it!!! All three kids played Little League, and somehow it all worked out. David and I both got to watch everyone play several games, and somehow ALL WORKED OUT!!! And what a BLAST it was!!!
First of all, Samone!! We tried talking her into playing, but she refused!!! So we let it go. After a few days of going to the park and practicing, Samone deciding she wanted to give it a try!! So, tryouts were already over and teams were formed and had even started practicing. But I decided to get in touch with the registration and see if they could get her on a team!! Well, THEY COULD!! She joined the Angels... and it turned out to be the most amazing experience we could have asked for!!! Her coach, Eddie Agular, was amazing. The team was a group of amazing and sweet girls and Samone really had an amazing experience with them. And she was so good!! After her first practice Eddie told me he wasn't worried about her at all and that he saw a lot of potential in her. Throughout the course of the season, she went from playing half the game and playing out field to playing 2nd base the entire game!!!! She was making plays, getting outs, making base hits, stealing bases and sliding into bases!!! WOW!! It was so much fun to watch. And she was the youngest one on the team!!! All the parents of the really good players came up to me at some point throughout the season to comment to me about Samone. None of them could believe it was her first time playing. Her coach even recommended her for All-Stars. She would have done it, but it conflicted with soccer!!! It was just an absolutely amazing experience!! I am so proud of her!!!
Adrien!!! I can not wait to see what becomes of his baseball "career". He is just so good!!! I mean, so good!!! On the Rockhounds again, with Caden and Hunter and with Coach Chris, Coach Logan and Coach David!! David amazes me out there!! He really is so good with those boys!!! And Adrien, I just love to watch him play. He just knows the game, his instincts are unbelievable!! This was the last year of Tball!! I can't wait for next year in AAA!!!
And my little Kendall Shae!! This could be her thing!! She really had an AMAZING season!! And she really loves it. And she totally has the look!!! She looks so dang cute out there!!! And she also really gets the game, making playing, making outs, and really hitting that ball!!! I really think she could do great with this sport!! I really hope she sticks with it cuz I know she can be really really good!!!
So, it was a great Little League season!!! I really enjoyed every minute of it!! The Sunflower seeds, iced tea and watching my amazing kiddos have amazing seasons!!!!

Juanima and David's first run together!!!
That was a tough one. Uphill the first half of the run! Holy moly! But we did it! Our first run together. David at 56 minutes and me at 61 minutes! Woo hoo!

Today we went to Lyna and Dustin's "Celebration of Life" shower!! It was a PT's in Winslow. They had a DJ and let me tell you... Kendall STOLE THE SHOW!!!
It was a fun night with family celebrating our newest family soon to make his/her entrance into the world.

Samone's 11th Birthday Party!!
What a production this was!!! 13 girls at my house for 4 hours!!!!!
As the girls arrived, we started by
doing some crafts....
decorating our bags,
making hula skirts,
decorating flip flops...
Everyone got leis and

We made necklaces, we made a kiss rose for our mother's for Mother's Day. David and I were frantically fixing flip flops and necklaces to have everything ready before parents started arriving....
It sure was a fun party, but it was crazy and hectic!!! Everything went great, but I was glad when it was over!!!! I think we will make next year a little simpler :)

Sunset Crater Field Trip with Adrien
But anyhow, we got to Sunset Crater and the windy was UNREAL!!!! We listened to the education gal give her little lesson, then we walked along the path to see the sights. Then we got back on the bus to head to our next location, the Wapiti Ruins.
At Wapiki Ruins, we stopped first to have lunch. Then we got another little lesson before heading off to explore the ruins!! AGAIN, the wind was just UNREAL!!! I mean, I was afraid one of the kindergarteners was going to blow away!!! ARGH!! I HATE the wind!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!!
I LOVE MY KIDS AND MY FAMILY SO MUCH!!! WE DECORATED EGGS, THEN THE KIDS AND I READ THE BOOK ABOUT THE FIRST EASTER!!! THEY HAD A LOT OF QUESTIONS AND IT REALLY MADE THEM THINK ABOUT THE TRUE MEANING OF EASTER. EASTER MORNING WAS FUN!! WE HURRIED OFF TO CHURCH AND DAD HELPED ME IN MY SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS. THEN WE DROVE TO WINSLOW TO BE WITH THE FAMILY. WE ATE AND THEN PLAYED BASEBALL IN THE PARK!! EVERYONE WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HOW GOOD ADRIEN WAS. DAD STAYED IN WINSLOW SO HE COULD GO TO WORK WHILE ME AND THE KIDDOS DROVE BACK HOME!!! ANOTHER WONDERFUL EASTER!!!

T-Ball Opening Ceremonies
Adrien got back on the same team as last year, with the same coach and the other assistant coach, Logan. David is also assistant coach, and he loves it!!! He wasn't her for opening ceremonies because of work!!! It was a gorgeous day, beautiful weather!! And Adrien is such a good little player. David and him work together all the time!! He can throw harder and hit the ball further than me or the girls!!!!! I love watching his games!! He is just so good!! But still a little sticker sometimes!!! This is going to be a fun but busy year with all three of the kids playing Little League!!! But I am so excited!! I can't wait!! I LOVE IT!!

My Sunday School Class
Well, once soccer slowed down in March, I stepped up to take the class over for Kim. Since then I have jumped right in to it!! And I have been loving it. I have been having the kids learn their memory verses!!! And on this day we had a little "ceremony" for all the parents to come watch their kids recite their memory verse!! WOW!! What an honor and blessing to be a part of God's Plan!!!

Adrien Loses His First Tooth!!!
Well...it happened, My Baby Boy LOST his FIRST TOOTH!! He discovered it was loose about a week ago, and has been obsessed about it ever since. And today it finally came out, at school-during computers!!! He was so excited!! I was excited, but also a little sad.... This is the last first-tooth to ever be lost in our family :( Adrien is growing up!! They are all growing up!!! I wish I could remember every day, but I can't!! So that is why I hope to at least capture some moments in this blog....moments I would otherwise forget!!
