Life is Good!!

I am not sure what I ever did to deserve this life I have been blessed with!!! I have an AMAZING husband who loves me so unconditionally and makes me feel so loved and respected and appreciated!!  I love him so much. My kiddos are AMAZING!! Oh, sure, they can drive me nuts sometimes with their bickering, arguing, fighting.... but I love them. They feel me with so much pride and joy and happiness. I have a beautiful home that I just do not deserve!!  Why me?? I so often wonder this. I don't want to take one moment for granted. I am so thankful to God for all that He has blessed me with!!

Now that the kiddos are all in school, I am still kinda sad, but it sure has been nice to have some time to myself to get "caught up" on things at home. And it has been nice for David and I to have some alone time. We have gone on bike rides, we go to the gym, we've taken lunch and wine to the pool, gone out for lunch, done stuff around the house!!!

Life has gotten so much easier!! It all started with this long, lazy, relaxing summer and rolled right into a low stress, calm, organized school year!! I really hope things stay like this!

The kids all love school and they love their teachers, so I don't feel any guilt about not having them home!!! I am starting my volunteering tomorrow!! I am so excited! I love being in their classrooms!!

Kendall is taking DANCE again, with Kim Lewis!! She loves it. That really is her thing....dance, gymnastics, singing, acting!!  David and I want to put her in an acting class or something. She is so exuberant and out-going. Everyone loves Kendall.

Samone is in the full swing of Soccer Club!! She is an amazing soccer player. She has her first tournament this weekend!! It should be interesting.

Adrien is playing Microsoccer.....and I AM HIS COACH!! So far it has been fun, exciting, frustrating and funny, all in one!!! He is SO GOOD!! I mean, no one else can score when he's on the field!! But, of course, I love my kid being the best one out there!!!

So, again, LIFE IS GOOD!!!  Thank you to God for all the blessings I have received but so do not deserve!!

Another Fun-Filled Summer Day

Rain, Rain and more Rain!!!! My Goodness!!!  I just can't believe all of this RAIN!!!! It doesn't even feel like summer!!! We haven't even seen the sun in over two days!!!  The kids and I have been wanting to go hiking, swimming, bike riding... anything outdoors. But it is so hard with all of this rain. So, today, we decided to just Go For It!!  It was raining at our house, but I was hoping maybe it wouldn't be raining at the Snowbowl. So, we packed up some snacks, water, got ready and headed up to Snowbowl for a picnic and a little hike. And...HURRAY, as we were heading out of city limits, it stopped raining. It was darn chilly up there...but BEAUTIFUL!!! We ate, hiked around. We found a plant that was covered in probably hundreds of ladybugs!! We found a cool tree that the kids climbed around in. It was so much fun!! As we headed back down into town, we headed back into the rain. It had been raining all day long. We stopped at the library and the kids all got some new library books. Then we headed on home. Adrien and I cuddled on the couch and he read me a book while Samone and Kendall worked together to make some sugar cookies!!! The rain actually stopped, but the sun never came out.  It was nice out, so we headed off for a bike ride. Well, the kids rode bikes and I ran!!! We came home and ate some dinner then settled down in the living room to watch a movie!!!!  These are the days that I want to remember. Just the wonderful, simple, special days with my kiddos!!!! I love my life!!!

Trip To Tucson

School got out on June 3rd this year. We had a few days to make up from all the snow days we had this year!! Kendall had a t-ball game on June 5th and we left straight from her game down to Tucson!! The trip went pretty smooth. It was just me and the kiddos, but they are getting older and are more self-entertained!! Adrien got a little restless at the end, but that's normal!!

It was so nice to see my sister!! I miss her so much and I am always so glad to see her. The kids were all so excited to see each other!!  The next day was my cousin, Monica's wedding. David drove down for the wedding. I love him so much!!! It was so nice to have everyone so dressed up and looking so nice!! It was a nice time!!

Kendall's Play...

I love watching my kids programs at school. Kendall has been so excited to perform this play. She memorized her part right away. I even made the cloak she has on!! And I am not good at sewing!!!

Adrien's Preschool Graduation!!

This year, I had a very unique and special opportunity. Two friends, Georgia and Beckie, and I got together and decided to give a Co-op Preschool a try!! It ended up being an amazing and unforgettable experience. There was Adrien and his buddy Alex, Alex's sister Lauren and Sophia!! Tuesdays were at Beckie's house, Wednesdays were at Georgia's house and Thursdays were at mine!! Adrien still went to Alpine about once a week. But this just provided an intimate environment where we really got to work with the kids!! They did great and we all just LOVED IT!!!

Adrien and Dad are really enjoying T-Ball !!!! Adrien is doing GREAT!!! He LOVES TBall !! This has been a great season... The coaches have all decided to actually PITCH to the kids! They give them 3 pitches and if they don't hit it than they get the Tee! Adrien is doing GREAT !!!! He has been hitting the ball so well!!  And they are letting the kids run to second base if they hit it hard and far enough!! That has been exciting. And if someone gets another player out, they are calling it out!! It has been SO MUCH FUN to watch!!! And, honestly, I sometimes wonder if I enjoy watching Adrien out there as much as I enjoy watching David!!!!

Grand Canyon Field Trip

What a FUN day!! I got to spend the entire day with my wonderful daughter and her class as we went on a field trip to the Grand Canyon!! It was an all day trip, 7am to 7pm!!!! From the school we drove to Williams. There we watched a silly but cute show. Then we got on the train for a 2 hour ride to Grand Canyon.  We spent the afternoon exploring the Grand Canyon!! Then the long train ride home!! It was an exhausting but exciting day. And I am so glad I got to spend the day with my sweet girl!!!
